Expanded Field This section gathers Lana Khayat’s large-scale works that engage directly with nature as both subject and source. These are not landscapes in the traditional sense. They are immersive environments, vast compositions that translate the rhythm of petals, the structure of roots, the memory held in earth and air.

Working primarily on linen, Khayat uses thread, paint, and gesture to create surfaces that breathe. Her marks echo the natural world but also the language of the body, the quiet repetition of stitching, the pulse of intuitive movement. There is a physicality to these works, but also a stillness. A sense of listening.

In these expanded fields, nature is not a backdrop. It is an active presence. A collaborator. A witness. The works speak of fragility, of time, of cycles. They invite the viewer to slow down, to stand close, to get lost.

Each piece is a space to enter rather than simply observe. A field where memory and matter are stitched together with care.

For commissions, collaborations, or collector inquiries, I'm always open to meaningful exchange.
